Research Portfolio

When I returned to school three years ago I was planning to complete a bachelors in psychology with the intention of continuing to graduate school to get my marriage and family therapist's license. I am a very goal-driven, results-oriented person. As a therapist you need to let others come to their own solutions, no matter how long that might take. They must sit with their own problems in order to come up with their own paths to move through them, and they may never accomplish that. Around the same time I realized this was going to drive me crazy was when I discovered how much I enjoy research. Here are the projects I have worked on in the two years since then:

Research Projects:

Literature Review of qualitative and quantitative research articles about workspace management and arts in organizations

Statistical Analyses of fitness data provided by schools nationwide participating with Project Fit America

Survey Development, Design, and Launch for the Sonoma State psychology department to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze student experiences in the department

Nationwide Online Survey Research measuring beliefs around transgender use of public bathrooms

In-Lab Experimental Research measuring student identification with a university and its effects on engagement with the university
